My name is Charles and I have always had a passion for cooking. The people that influence me the most in my life where my Grandmother (Mamaw), my Mother (Rosemary, Aunt Betty, and Aunt Pat. All of my best childhod memories were surrounded around these women and how they made me feel. So, I created this blog to honor them and to share their recipes and the recipes of others.

I am sure most of you could sit down right now and think back of your grandmother and remember some recipe she cooked that you loved everytime she made it. Do you remember it, right now how does that memory make you feel, I bet you have a smile on your face and you can almost taste. Now, what was the recipe that your grandmother made for you. How did it make you feel.

So, this is what my blog is about sharing those memories and recipes. You can send in recipe if you like with a short story or just comment on the blog post with a memory of a recipe with a picture.
